Neil Andrews, Pastor of Worship Arts & Communication

A native of Indiana and a Communication major at Purdue University, Neil came to Nashville in 1992 from Chicago through his studio and commercial work as producer, arranger and keyboards. But shortly after settling here, he soon began to sense God leading him in a new direction.

"If you would have told me 18 years ago I would be in my present occupation of worship pastor, I wouldn't have believed you,” he says. But after working with and being mentored by several ‘spiritual fathers,’ the call of being a pastor seemed the perfect next step in his musical journey.

From part-time music leader to full-time Worship Arts & Communication Pastor in 1997, Neil now shepherds a lay staff of vocalists, instrumentalists, technical arts teams, drama & dance coordinators, in addition to overseeing all printed forms of communication and defacto webmaster.

"The core belief that guides us is that worship is a lifestyle,” he says. “Everything we do is an act of worship 24/7, not just one hour on Sunday mornings."

Neil, his wife, Susan, and their sons, Nathan and Patrick, reside in Franklin. Their eldest son, Tyler, along with his wife, Caroline, and their three sons, Ewan, Wyatt, and Elias also live nearby.

Neil frequently says that as he watches the sunrise, Romans 1:20 always comes
to mind:

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."
