“Equipping the Church,” the third pillar of the NHCC vision statement, is the central focus of our adult educational gatherings. Our classes and home groups have the scriptural precedent of spiritual transformation through study of the Word, prayer, fellowship, and ministering one to another. Jesus, The Living Word This is a comprehensive study of the four Gospels. Join us every Sunday as we look afresh at the life of Jesus. Our goal is not just another intellectual pursuit of the scriptures; rather, it is to come to know Jesus, the Living Word of God.

Setting the Stage This Old Testament study of the Bible gives an overview of God’s plan of salvation, Jesus Christ the Messiah, revealed from Genesis to Malachi. You are invited to come and discover for yourself the amazing revelations from these ancient texts.

Faith Lessons by evangelical historian Ray Vander Laan warmly reveals keen insights that will ignite your walk of faith with great applications for everyday life. This fascinating and faith-building series consists of a video presentation, approximately twenty minutes in length, followed by class discussion. The archaeological discoveries filmed on location in Israel make the Bible explode with new relevance by revealing the historical, cultural, and geographical context of important Scriptures.

The Tabernacle Did you ever wonder why Jesus had to come? Or why He had to die the way He did? Or how does the Old Testament/Covenant tie in with New Testament/Covenant? Explore the significance of our Salvation as we dig deeper in the Word to answer these questions and more. In the first part of our study, we’ll spend about ten to twelve weeks examining the Tabernacle, including everything associated with it. The second part is an additional five weeks studying the feasts and sacrifices. Learn what the Tabernacle, the feasts, and the sacrifices represented and their relationship to what we now have in Jesus Christ. Join us every Wednesday morning for a great time of fellowship and study.

Living a Life of Balance is a study from the Women of Faith Series. As stated in the forward, “When we consider the life of Jesus and the example He left us, would you say He was balanced? You will remember He sometimes moved away from the clamoring needs of the crowd so that He might be alone; that meant many needs went unmet.” Join us as we learn how to better handle the “tenuous balance between faith and sight, between love and obedience, between longing and contentment,” using God’s Word and a workbook.

The Christian Chicks Chat Group is a small group meeting of women who desire to further their walk with Jesus. Through a series by Dr. Neil Anderson, we are learning how to overcome unproductive life patterns, by renouncing what is contrary to God’s Word, and believing the Truth of who God really is, not who we think He is. No one can keep you from becoming the person God intended you to be. In Christ, each of us can walk in freedom.
